Description

Just another homework assignment for my figure drawing class... I was supposed to be working on it the past 3 weeks... I pretty much just did it all tonight. Heh, yeah... I'm bad. (And sorry I couldn't get a good pic without some glare)

18" x 24" Graphite pencil

Man... I can't wait for this class to be over... ;P the in class work is fun (I might post some of that later)... but the homework is killing me.

The glare actually adds a bit of extra goodness to the drawing. It hits just right where the body of the glasses is, adding a step closer to 3D in a 2D piece.
I'm impressed with the way your line stroke is. Each one like good carpentry goes WITH the grain. That is, each set of muscles: cheeks, below eye socket, above your upper lip, and even your forehead all move together, the way you naturally guess your muscles to go.
Very strong lips. I can't tell if you're just standing still, or are trying to act hardcore, but it seems as though the latter is true.
Great work. Hope to see it in the show.
